Fumu: Fumu was Kirby's first and best friend when he landed in Pupu village thousands of years ago. She was enslaved along with her two parents, and is now the leader of the rebels to overthrow Nightmare.
Bun: Fumu's little brother. He was friends with Kirby, but not as close as his sister was to the star warrior. He now is second in command of the rebel army.
The Mayor: The (former) mayor of Pupu village. He joined up with the rebels because he believed that things should have gone back to the way they once were.
The Sheriff: The Sheriff of Pupu village. His job was stolen by the demon beasts, and he was enslaved as well when Nightmare took over. He is fighting to win back his job more than anything.
